This morning’s Breakfast Network Meeting was at the Strathcona County Library. We enjoyed a delightful breakfast catered by Chamber Member Vicky’s Bistro and Wine Bar. After our Members’ 20-second Self Introductions, we heard from SCL Board Chair Anna Pandos, who welcomed us to the library.
Librarian Angela shared with us some great resources the library has for businesses, including online resources you can access right from your office. These include newspapers, magazines, video training, audiobooks, and language learning programs. Inside the library, you’ll find Strathcona County’s extensive business collection and the current program guide, which lists classes relevant for professional development. Did you know that library cards are free to residents of Strathcona County?
After the Breakfast Network Meeting, Librarian Diana gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of the Bookmobile, which services our rural communities and can deliver materials to your area! You will also find the Bookmobile at various community events throughout the year.
